Ambassador Program
The Ambassador Program is volunteer-based and seeks those who would like to spread the mission of A Smile of a Child Foundation. The main purpose of this special group of participants is to assist us with community awareness, publicity and media relations, and participant and volunteer recruitment.
Ambassadors will receive a training packet, materials for promotional activities, and support from Foundation staff.
Characteristics of A Smile of a Child Ambassador
We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated and approachable people with good organization skills and available time, who have a passion for the Foundation. He/She will be knowledgeable about A Smile of A Child Foundation programs, and can explain the various levels of participation. Personal appearance, public speaking skills, internet and email access, and willingness to travel and speak on behalf of A Smile of a Child Foundation are important attributes. An articulate and effective speaker who can: communicate the benefits of involvement with A Smile of a Child Foundation, communicate the key messages to be delivered on behalf of the Foundation to the media and potential participants, volunteers, sponsors, and elected officials. A conscientious person who desires to play a key role in spreading the word about the importance of helping those most in need.
